LSVOTF Arrest Three Violent Offenders
On Thursday, July 11, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, Duluth Patrol Officers and Investigators, and Deputies from the St. Louis County Sheriff Office executed a search warrant in the 1400 block of 91st Ave W. During the execution of the search warrant, 35-year-old Duluth resident Antonio Holmes, 19-year-old Chicago resident Ezra Polk, and 37-year-old unknown resident Deonta Cousins were detained and arrested without incident. These individuals were booked at the St. Louis County Jail for multiple pending charges.
During the execution of the search warrant, 1.5 pounds of fentanyl, 1 pound of methamphetamine, over a pound of heroin, .5 pounds of cocaine, a .40 caliber Glock pistol with an obliterated serial number, with a Glock switch installed, which turns the firearm into a fully automatic weapon, and 9mm pistol were seized.
Good work to members of our Violent Offender Task Force for safely apprehending these violent offenders and taking these harmful substances and weapons off the streets of Duluth.
