Traffic Advisory: Duluth Women's Ten Mile Race

The Duluth Women’s Ten Mile Race will be held Saturday, September 28, starting at 8 a.m. The race starts at Hawks Ridge and travels down Seven Bridges Road to Occidental Boulevard.
Race participants will then cross Superior Street to access the Lakewalk. Participants will stay on the Lakewalk crossing Avenues between 60th Avenue East and 32nd Avenue East. Traffic will be stopped while runners are crossing Avenues.
The race will end on London Road near Lief Erickson Park. London Road will be closed from 10th Avenue East to 12th Avenue East. Roads will completely reopen after the last participant has passed. All traffic should return to normal by noon.

There will be no access to Hawks Ridge from 6:30 – 8:30 a.m.
Seven Bridges Road will be closed from Occidental Boulevard to Skyline Parkway from 6:30 – 8:30 a.m.

Parking restrictions:
Parking restrictions begin at 7 a.m. on London Road 10th Avenue East to 12th Avenue East. Vehicles parked in the no parking zones after 7 a.m. will be ticketed and towed.

Duluth Police Department is asking drivers to use caution and be alert during this event.
