Temporary detour planned for intersection of Cody Street and 59th Avenue W tomorrow

 

[DULUTH, MN] City of Duluth will be closing the intersection of Cody Street and 59th Avenue West to perform a utility repair on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. This repair will require the closure of the intersection and the detour of traffic in the area. The intersection is anticipated to reopen to automobile traffic on Wednesday evening.

As shown in the included detour map, the posted detour will include the use of 57th Avenue West between Grand Avenue and Highland Street. Vehicles using Cody Street should consider using Central Avenue, 63rd Avenue W and W Eighth Street. Drivers may experience travel delays due to detoured traffic and should consider alternate routes during the repair when feasible.
