FINAL UPDATE:

On Monday, December 30, Duluth Police arrested 23-year-old Cole Saice for pending charges of Felony Theft. Good work to both our Patrol and Investigations Division for holding Saice accountable and returning over thirty hockey sticks to the Mankato Hockey Team.

UPDATE:

At approximately 10:50 p.m. Saturday, December 28, while on patrol, officers located a male walking in the 100 block of E 3rd St with a few of the items. The male stated he located the items behind the CHUM. The male didn’t match the description of the suspected individual and was lodged at the county jail for an unrelated warrant. Officers recovered the items and arrangements to return the items to its rightful owner are being made. This incident remains an active and ongoing investigation. 

ORIGINAL:
On 12/28/2024 at 10:51am, the Duluth Police responded to the report of a theft that occurred overnight in the 200 W Blk of 1st Street.  This investigation remains an active, officers are working to follow-up any leads and no further information will be released at this time.
