Male Arrested for Pending First Degree Assault Charges
UPDATE:
24-year-old Lewis Barney was lodged at the St. Louis County Jail for pending charges of 1st Degree Assault.
ORIGINAL:
At approximately 12:22 p.m., Thursday, January 9, Duluth Police responded to the 100 block of East 3rd Street for a report of a stabbing. Initial investigation shows one individual sustained a stab wound and was transported to a local hospital by Mayo Ambulance. Their condition is unknown at this time.
All involved individuals were detained. There is no threat to the public.
This remains a very active and ongoing investigation. Once more information is able to be released, we will be sure to do so.
