Duluth City Council adopts new meeting start time

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] At its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, February 10, Duluth City Council adopted a resolution that amends its standing rules to change the start time of the council’s regular Monday meetings from 7:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

 

Resolution 25-0097R was authored by City Council President Terese Tomanek and Councilors Forsman, Mayou, and Swenson, also updated notice language to comply with Minnesota state law, and updated the order of business to reflect the current practice. The resolution passed unanimously on the consent agenda. The city council meeting start time change is effective immediately, and the council’s February 24 meeting will accordingly begin at 6:00 PM.
