SUBJECT: Police arrest Suspect in Walgreen's Pharmacy Robbery, still looking for Second Suspect

Arrest made in robbery of Walgreen’s Pharmacy. Police still looking for second suspect.
 
On Sunday, October 31, 2010, at 2:37 am, Duluth Police responded to the Walgreen’s Pharmacy, 4501 Grand Avenue, on the report that it had just been robbed.
 
Employees told officers that two male suspects entered the store and went to the pharmacy. One suspect handed the employee a note and began demanding Oxycodone. The employee complied with the suspects request and gave him an undisclosed amount of Oxycodone at which time the suspect sprayed the employee with a chemical aerosol. The two suspects then fled from the business on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
 
On Monday, November 1, 2010 at 5:58 pm, Duluth Police arrested Eric James Murray, age 25 of Duluth, for the robbery. Murray has appeared in Sixth Judicial District Court in Duluth and has been charged with First Degree Aggravated Robbery and First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, his bail has been set at $25,000.00. At the time of his arrest, Murray was on probation for a robbery he committed in 2009.
 
The second suspect in the robbery has been identified as Robert Erin Nilsson, age 27 of Duluth. An arrest warrant has been issued for Nilsson charging him in the robbery; the arrest warrant is for First Degree Aggravated Robbery and First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance.   There is also a Dakota County Arrest Warrant out on Nilsson for Fourth Degree Burglary.  Police have been unable to locate Nilsson and believe he is still in the Duluth-Superior area.
 
Anyone with information about Nilsson, or his whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1.  If Nilsson is spotted, do not attempt to detain him for police. Call 9-1-1 and give his location, clothing description, last known direction of travel, and vehicle description (if applicable).
 
The investigation into the robbery is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
