Torch Run
On Tuesday, June 17, the Duluth Police Department will join law enforcement agencies from across the state in the Law Enforcement Torch Run to support Special Olympics Minnesota. Officers and Special Olympics athletes will carry the ‘Flame of Hope’ through the City of Duluth, raising awareness and funds for athletes.
DPD will be passing the torch at 11 a.m. at Priley Circle at City Hall. Community members are encouraged to attend support the runners and bikers who’ll be the ‘Guardians of the Flame.’
