Temporary road closure on Anderson Road begins June 16

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth will close a portion of Anderson Road on Monday, June 16 to allow contractors to safely perform work to replace lead water service lines as a part of the City’s ongoing efforts to remove lead from private water service lines. A detour will be signed and is expected to be in place until June 23. The detour route is described as follows:

 

  • Westbound traffic: Anderson Road to Central Entrance (MN 194) > Central Entrance to Trinity Road (US 53) > Trinity Road to Anderson Road (end detour)
  • Eastbound traffic: Anderson Road to Trinity Road (US 53) > Trinity Road to Central Entrance (MN 194) > Central Entrance to Anderson Road (end detour)

 

Drivers should consider alternate routes to their destinations during the week, as traffic may be delayed.
