INCIDENT LOCATION: 200 Block of West First Street
Two Duluth men are in custody after robbing a pizza delivery man on Wednesday night.
At 10:49 pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, Duluth Police were called to the 200 Block of West First Street on the report that a pizza delivery man had just robbed by two males while attempting to deliver pizza. The male suspects assaulted the victim and then took his wallet and the pizza before fleeing. The victim suffered minor injuries during the robbery. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
On Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 10:47 pm, Duluth Police arrested Dennis Christopher Yeazle, age 22 of Duluth. Yeazle was taken to the St. Louis County Jail where he was held. This afternoon Yeazle appeared in Sixth Judicial District Court in Duluth where he was charged with First Degree Aggravated Robbery and Gross Misdemeanor False Name to a Peace Officer.
This morning, Friday November 5th, 2010, at 10:44 am, Duluth Police arrested the second suspect in the robbery. Robert Donald Abrahamson, age 22 of Duluth, was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the St. Louis County Jail pending formal charges for First Degree Aggravated Robbery. Abrahamson is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday.
The investigation into the robbery continues and no further information is available at this time.
