Duluth Economic Development Authority announces Boatloads of Fun festival of sail watch party on July 10

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] The Duluth Economic Development Authority announces its Boatloads of Fun event will be held in Gichi-Ode' Akiing (Lake Place Park), located at 214 E Superior Street, on Thursday, July 10, 2025. The event is from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM and will serve as a community viewing party for the Festival of Sail.

 

The Boatloads of Fun viewing party event is free to the public and provides a community space to watch the tall ships arrive, but also connect with retail, community, and food vendors, play yard games, and more.

 

“This event will really highlight the Lakewalk as a connector from eastern neighborhoods to downtown while increasing commerce and improving community engagement on our Lakewalk,” said Economic Developer Angie Stier.

 

Vendor space is still available. Vendors interested in participating should contact DEDA staff at deda@duluthmn.gov.
