City of Duluth announces modified operational hours for Aerial Lift Bridge and Minnesota Slip Bridge for July 4
[DULUTH, MN] The Aerial Lift Bridge and Minnesota Slip Bridge will alter its normal summer operating schedule tomorrow, July 4, 2025, to accommodate the local fireworks display. Operational changes are as follows:
- The Aerial Lift Bridge will remain in the lowered position from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm. The bridge will not lift for boats to pass under the bridge during this time, with the exception of emergency marine vessels.
- The Minnesota Slip Bridge will remain in the lowered position from 8:30 pm until 11:00 pm. The bridge will not open for marine traffic during this time, with the exception of emergency marine vessels.
The Aerial Lift Bridge will continue its tradition of lighting the bridge in red, white, and blue colors on July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
The City of Duluth wishes everyone a happy and safe Fourth of July weekend.
