UPDATE - Duluth Police Arrest Male for Felony Domestic Assault Charges
UPDATE:
On Friday, July 25 Officers learned Daniel Thorson fled the hospital and was unable to be located. Today, Monday, July 28, the male was located in Greysolon Apartments. A search warrant was executed, and multiple attempts were made to have Thorson come out of a bedroom, which were unsuccessful. DPD’s Tactical Response Team responded to the scene and breached the door. He was arrested and brought back to a local hospital. Thorson will be lodged at the St. Louis County Jail for pending charges of Felony Domestic Assault and Misdemeanor Obstructing.
ORIGINAL:
At approximately 6:15 a.m., Friday, July 25, Duluth Police responded to a report of a domestic assault in the 800 block of East 9th Street. Officers quickly responded on scene and set up a perimeter. Upon arrival, officers located a female outside the home with injuries. The suspected male, identified as 37-year-old Daniel Thorson, was located in a nearby home and taken into custody for pending charges of Felony Domestic Assault. The female was treated on scene for her injuries.
