On Thursday, November 11, 2010, beginning at 9:30 a.m., a Veteran’s Day March will take place in downtown Duluth. The march will begin at the Depot, 5th Avenue West and Michigan Street. It will travel north on 5th Avenue West to Superior Street, and turn east to Lake Avenue. The marchers will then turn south over the Lake Avenue viaduct to Railroad Street where they will turn west to the main entrance to the DECC. Eastbound traffic along the route should expect delays.
Motorists should obey officers directing traffic along the route and expect short delays. Eastbound traffic is encouraged to move onto Michigan or Second Streets during the time of the march.
Traffic should return to normal by approximately 10:30 a.m.
