Sunday Burglary

At approximately 1:20 a.m., Sunday, September 14, Duluth Police responded to a report of a burglary that occurred at a downtown business on West Superior Street. Upon arrival, Officers located a shattered glass door and shell casings near the sidewalk. Officers cleared the building and were unable to locate anyone. After reviewing surveillance video, Officers identified 36-year-old James Ferry as the individual involved in the incident. A short time later, Ferry was located and was in possession of items stolen from the business. He was arrested without incident and lodged at the St. Louis County Jail for pending charges of 1st Degree Burglary, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. This incident remains an active and ongoing investigation.
