2025 Pink Patch Project
For the fifth year in a row, the Duluth Police Department is joining other public safety agencies in participating in the annual public awareness campaign, the Pink Patch Project.
In previous years, the Duluth Police Department has sold pink patches for $10/patch, pink koozies for $5/koozie, and pink silicon bracelets for $3/bracelet. New this year, along with the previous items, DPD will also be selling branded t-shirts for $20+/shirt!
The Duluth Police Department has raised a total of $6,825 through the Pink Patch Project since joining this campaign in 2021. 100% of the proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society to continue their mission in treating all cancers.
“Throughout the month of October, members of the Duluth Police Department will be seen wearing either the commemorative pink patches, pink bracelets, or shirts to show our support to those affected by cancer,” said Chief Mike Ceynowa. “Everyone knows someone who’s been affected by cancer, and this is one way we can continue our support to members of our community who’ve been affected by this devastating disease.”
Shirts, koozies, and/or bracelets can be purchased online by going to the link here: https://pink-patch-project.itemorder.com/shop/home/
