Aerial Lift Bridge and Minnesota Slip Bridge will undergo inspections beginning Monday, October 20
[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth’s Aerial Lift Bridge will undergo bridge inspections beginning on Monday, October 20, 2025. Inspection work will last throughout the week. The inspections will require frequent, slow lifts of the bridge to allow for detailed mechanical and electrical inspections of the bridge’s working components.
Traffic at the bridge will be cleared after each lift, but commuters should plan accordingly for the necessary delays and allow extra time to reach destinations. Pedestrian traffic on the Minnesota Slip Bridge may also face minor delays during the week.
