City of Duluth to hold open house regarding suggested changes to the City’s Unified Development Chapter on Thursday, November 13, 2025
[DULUTH, MN] The City of Duluth Planning and Economic Development Department will be holding an informational open house meeting about suggested changes to the City’s Unified Development Chapter. The Unified Development Chapter is comprised of the City’s zoning code. This meeting will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm in Room 330 on the third floor of City Hall, located at 411 W First Street, Duluth, MN.
On June 16, 2025, Duluth City Council passed Resolution 25-0520R, Resolution in Support of Comprehensive Zoning and Code Modernization to Increase Housing Supply Across All Income Levels. In response to this resolution, City Planning Division staff are compiling recommendations for zoning code changes to improve efficiency in development processes, support increased housing, and provide clarity.
The open house will introduce the themes and timeline for the proposed code changes and provide those interested with an opportunity to discuss zoning changes with City Planning staff. Interested parties can attend any time during the 90-minute meeting.
