City to postpone snow removal in Lincoln Park

The City of Duluth thanks residents and businesses in Lincoln Park for complying with requests to move cars off of local streets for snow removal efforts.  City crews have made good progress thanks to the public's response. 

Due to the predicted snowfall, the City of Duluth maintenance crews will be postponing their work in Lincoln Park tonight in order for crews to prepare for street plowing operations.

City crews plan to resume snow removal next Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 2:00 AM in Lincoln Park. Crews will continue to clear snow along West Superior Street between Garfield Avenue and 21st Ave West, and from West Michigan Street up to to West 1st Street before heading further west.

The public is once again requested to remove their vehicles from Lincoln Park streets by Tuesday morning January 18, 2011, at 2:00 AM. Cars obstructing snow removal efforts will be ticketed.
