City seeks applicants for boards and commissions
(updated information)
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is also seeking applicants for the Planning Commission. Applications should be submitted to the City Clerk’s office by March 1, 2011. Appointments shall be made by the Mayor, subject to confirmation and approval by the City Council.
The commission advises the City Council on all planning and development matters including rezonings, issuance of special use permits, and community development policies. The Commission has final authority in approval of plats, serves as the responsible governmental unit (RGU) and conducts environmental reviews pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 116D and the applicable state regulations. The commission meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:00 p.m.
