Meeting to discuss proposed permit parking near new East High School

 
 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is hosting a public meeting to discuss a resident petition to establish permit parking around the new East Duluth High School (formerly Ordean Middle School). The public is invited to the meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Portman Community Center, 4601 McCulloch Street.  

 

City staff will explain the procedures and rules associated with permit parking zones. Participants will have a chance to discuss the proposal and help determine the boundaries of the new permit zone, which will then require City Council approval. If approved, the new permit parking zone would be effective by the start of the next school year.
