City to resume snow removal in Lincoln Park

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth street maintenance crew will resume clearing the accumulated snow banks in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in order to provide improved access to local businesses and street parking. The project was postponed due to the shift in staff towards snow plowing operations. The crew will start Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 2:00 AM and work along West Superior Street between Garfield Avenue and 21st Ave West and from West Michigan Street up to West 1st Street.   


The public is advised to remove their vehicles from Lincoln Park streets by Thursday morning January 20, 2011, at 2:00 AM. Cars obstructing snow removal efforts will be ticketed.
