City requests residents and businesses in Duluth Heights/Mall area to conserve water due to water main leak

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is requesting that residents and businesses in the Duluth Heights and Miller Hill Mall area conserve water as city utility crews work to repair a water main leak.  The leak was discovered around 3:00 pm on a 12 inch feeder line that connects to the Highland water tank. Utility crews are working under frigid conditions to expedite repairs.

 

Repair time is unknown at this point. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.  Residents and businesses are requested to conserve water during the repair period. Motorists should avoid the site of the repair on North Arlington Ave, between Olive Street and West Ideal Street.
